More on the Smoking Controversy...

The Examiner has an article about the controversy between Twilighters about how much all the members of the Twilight/New Moon cast have been smoking.

Rob and Kristen have both been documented smoking before, and it has fans in an uproar. Some say "it's gross," and that the film stars, who know that a large part of their audience are teenagers, twenty-somethings and women generally, have a responsibility to behave as role models. Smoking has notoriously been linked to lung cancer and heart disease, and it is particularly deadly for women and African-Americans.

Others say that, as they are all adults, they have every right to make the choice whether or not to smoke, and that people should respect their rights to make that decision.

What do you think? Personally I feel that it is disgusting and, since they are some of the biggest role models for teens in Hollywood right now, they should try to control their bad habits.
