Movie-Moron asks the question: Are Twilight's Edward Cullen and Bella Swan inspiring real crimes?

Have you ever lashed out at someone just because they voiced their distaste for the Edward Cullen and Bella Swan?
Since we have so many Twilighters and non-fans who post on our messageboards every day, we wanted to ask for some first-hand stories from you guys."
The reported attacks range from sexual harassment to someone having a beaker of acid thrown in their face. At least Harry Potter fans are young enough to be no threat, the Twilight brigade tend to be a lot older and a lot more hormonal (if equally unbalanced).

Umm...wow. I really don't know what to say to this. I do believe that people would resort to violence to defend Twilight (hey, I'd do it--JUST KIDDING!), but--sexual harassment?? Not getting it.
But we've all had our experiences with Twilight-haters. *curse them* So...I guess I can see where this is coming from.
