Twilight...the musical!

San Ramon, CA – June 8, 2009 – After much anticipation, Part Four of the popular web series “Twilight: The Musical” made its world-wide premier on video-hosting site Youtube this morning.

Masterminded by Gliff Productions, the web series aspires to lovingly parody Stephenie Meyer’s popular “Twilight” series via the use of original songs and clever dialogue.

“This really has been an incredible effort,” says director Griffin Lewis. “Everyone involved has played such a huge part, whether they wrote the songs or donated the costumes and props. Everyone is working towards this really wonderful common goal.”

Since the release of the first video, Gliff Productions’ videos have garnered over 150,000 views on their Youtube account and have won the devotion of both fans and haters of the “Twilight” series.

“Everyone’s really excited about where this is heading,” says Jenny Nicholson, one of the two actresses who plays Bella. “This started out as something we just talked about over lunch, and now we’ve got this amazing product in our hands.”

“Twilight: The Musical” will be released in twelve episodes, along with bonus features, such as cast and crew commentaries, bloopers, and deleted scenes. Fans can follow Gliff Productions’s progress on their website, www.twilightthemusical.com.
