I just got this tweet from AccessHollywood.com. It seems Bryce Dallas Howard will replace Rachelle Lefevre in Eclipse due to scheduling conflicts. I hate to see this happen. I like a sense of continuance(is that a word? lol) in the movies. Kinda the same way I wish they kept Solomon Trimble as Sam Uley. But I'll get over it.
“We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions, said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “Rachelle brought ‘Victoria’ to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”

Also!! Eclipse release date announced! June 30, 2010. Thank you Summit! We don't have to wait a full year for Eclipse. Now if they could just up the release date of New Moon, that would be fantastic!!

NOOOO that's awful Rachelle is Canadian. I think they should take pity on us, she's the only Canadian in Twilight ANYWHERE and now she's gone!!! I hope they reconsider, I liked her and not only because she's from Montréal but she was good as Victoria.
