Twilight fans have devoured the books, flocked to the movie, and snapped up the DVD. So why not a graphic novel? The publishhers behind Stephenie Meyer’s smash teen vampire series are preparing two volumes drawn by Korean artist Young Kim and heavily edited by Meyer. “For years I’ve had many fans ask me if there will be a graphic-novel version of Twilight,” Meyer said in a statement. “I know they’ll be just as thrilled as I am for this new interpretation.” The graphic novel is essentially Meyer’s brain on paper. “Stephenie is reviewing every page, every panel,” says Kurt Hassler, publishing director for Yen Press, an imprint of Hachette Book Group. “People should feel like they are getting a rare glimpse inside her vision of the property,” says Entertainment Weekly.Anyone think the graphic novel will sell like Stephanie Meyer's original collection?
