Cake Eaters Review

CaliTwilighter from Twifans watched and reviewed Kristen Stewart's new movie, "The Cake Eaters."

Georgia (Kristen Stewart) is a beautiful 15 year old girl who suffers from Friedreich's ataxia, a genetic neurological disease. Because of the disease walking is very awkward and she will need a wheelchair soon, her hands become stiff easily and she speaks, as Beagle puts it, like she is drunk. Georgia’s relationship with her mother is complicated. Georgia knows she is dying and is constantly reminded of this, as her mother continuously wants to take more pictures of her to document her illness and to help promote awareness about the disease. Her mother also pushes her to use a wheelchair furthering Georgia’s frustrations.
