Josh Ryan is the band Secrets in Stereo, which has been featured in The Hills, The Young and the Restless, Grey's Ananomy, and several other TV shows and movies.
He wrote a song about Twilight and is now taking advice from fans about how to write a song for New Moon that he's hoping will reach the New Moon soundtrack! Watch this video for more details on his quest:

Q: So your motive is to have a song on the soundtrack that has had a direct influence from fans?
A: Absolutely 100%. The music industry is changing. I deal with it every day, and I'm sure you all deal with it often as well. To be honest, I'm kinda sick of the status quo. I want to be a part of something innovative and different.
